Commission B Supports Additional S Vessels For School Students

The proposed addition of six vessels for transporting school students in Seribu Islands proposed by Jakarta Transportation Dept., got support from Jakarta DPRD's Commission B.

It's actually more than six vessels to replace the damaged vessels

Yusriah Dzinnun, Chairperson of Jakarta DPRD's Commission B disclosed that her party would bring the proposed addition in the upcoming banggar meeting. The proposed budget for the addition of these six vessels was amounted to Rp 5,500,000,000.

"It's actually more than six vessels to replace the damaged vessels. Later on we plant to propose it in the banggar meeting," she stated, during the discussion and discussion meeting of 2018 Draft APBD with Jakarta Transportation Dept., Tuesday (11/21).

Responding on this matter, Jakarta Transportation Dept. Head, Andriansyah explained that his party has 12 vessels and 6 of them are still active to accommodate students or residents who need transportation.

"We also want to add six vessels," she stated.
